necklace title: "Jungle Fever"
There's no cure for the fever of attention this necklace will attract! A riot of sculpted foliage, the 10 individual pieces are embellished with 2 faceted emeralds of about 3.5 ct each as well as additional emerald beads, pearls, coral, peridot and carnelian. They are joined together with 18k goldfilled links and strung with 24k gold covered flexible steel cable. The same stone & pearl embellishments are echoed in the stringing. This piece was specifically designed for an article appearing in the March 2005 issue of "Art Jewelry" and is very similar in design to Emerald Isles. Although of course every piece is entirely unique. If it is indded a jungle out there, you may as well lead the way in this!

This piece is currently on display at the "Art 2 Wear" Exhibit sponsored by the Los Angeles County Art Commission in the Southwest Airlines terminal at LAX -- Los Angeles International Airport, through March.
