This piece was a finalist in the 2004 annual Bead Dreams contest sponsored by Bead & Button Magazine and was also featured in the March 2005 Art Jewelry magazine. It is fashioned from 14 individually sculpted pieces and embellished with 2 faceted emeralds of 3.5 ct each. Also adorning the sculpture work and stringing are several emerald beads, golden pearl, coral, peridot, Bali gold spacers & carnelian. The polymer medallions are connected with 18 & 22 k goldfilled links & rings and strung together on 23k gold covered steel cable to make a strong but very lightweight tropical explosion to grace your neck and provide a vacation for the eyes.
